In Psalm 8, our meditation for this week, David acknowledged that God created human beings to display God’s glory.One way we do that as followers of Jesus is in recognizing that we have been particularly empowered to deal with conflict creatively.
As we gather in worship this Sunday we will celebrate the work of the Prince of Peace in our own lives and relationships. We will be reminded of Jesus’ timeless instructions in Matthew 18:15-20 for dealing with conflict within the faith community.Conflict happens.If we deal with it the Jesusway in our congregation, we are transformed and equipped to be peacemakers throughout the world.
