Vision, Values and Mission:

College Mennonite Church is a community of Jesus Christ, empowered by the Spirit, experiencing and extending God’s love and grace.

We seek to follow Christ in partnership with other congregations of common purpose throughout the world, beginning with Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference and Mennonite Church USA .

College Mennonite Church Core Values

  • Following Jesus and inviting others to follow
  • Practicing peace, justice and anti-racism
  • Joining in caring community
  • Worshipping together
  • Growing in faith
  • Equipping for ministry
  • Living generously
  • Participating in God's reconciling activity in the world.
Summary of Affirmations
--As a community of faith, College Mennonite Church follows the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition of biblically based Christian discipleship.

-- We affirm that God, in love and grace, is always at work, calling and forming people to continue the work of bringing reconciliation and wholeness to all persons. God's supreme act brought Jesus to live and die as a suffering servant and to rise forever as Lord.

-- We affirm that Christ by His spirit overcomes our separateness and unites us into one body—mutually supportive and accountable to each other.
