Gary Martin recently joined CMC
as Transitional Lead Pastor
. Gary leads in visioning, planning, and implementing preaching and worship, and is guiding the
church through a strategic planning process and preparation for calling long term leadership. He is the relating pastor to the Board of Elders and the Worship Commission.
Gary received a B.A. in Biblical Studies from GraceCollege in 1977, a Certificate from Seminary Consortium for Urban Pastoral Education in 1981, and a Master of Divinity from Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries in 1982.His focus has been Transitional Ministry since 1990, as a transitional pastor, consultant, teacher and writer.Previous assignments included pastoral ministry, urban ministry, church planting, Instructor in Evangelism and Church Development at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries, and Church Development Consultant with Central District Conference.
