Klaudia Smucker
Pastor of Caring
and Adult Nurture

Klaudia Smucker has been

has been on the pastoral team at CMC since 2000. Klaudia

leads in visioning, planning, and implementing pastoral care, and adult Christian education and formation. She is the relating pastor to Caring Commission which also oversees neighborhood groups and small groups. She also participates regularly in officiating funerals, weddings, and in preaching in Sunday worship.

Klaudia received her B.S. in Nursing from Goshen College in 1978 and her M.Div. from Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in 1998. She served as a chaplain at Greencroft retirement center from 1998-2000 before joining the team at CMC.

Klaudia wrote "Walking on Holy Ground: A Pastor's Theology of Funerals" for Vision (Spring 2004), the AMBS, CMU publication.
