Susan Dengler
Pastor of Music and Arts

Susan Dengler has been on the pastoral team since 1996. Susan leads in visioning, planning, and implementing music and art programs. She assists with worship planning, is a member of Worship Commission and relating pastor to the Arts Commission . She oversees the youth and children's choral music program and directs two of the children's and youth choirs.

Susan is Assistant Professor of Music at Goshen College where she teaches Applied Voice Lessons, Class Voice and Vocal Methods and Pedagogy. She is a soprano soloist and has performed in operas, oratorios and recitals throughout the East Coast and Midwest. She is also a choral composer, arranger, and lyricist and has music published with major choral publishers.

Susan received a B.S. in Music Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania in 1972, and attended Post Graduate studies at both West Chester University and Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries. She received her M.M. in Church Music from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso Indiana in 2000.
