Men’s Bible Study

Men’s Bible Study is a weekly noon event for men from September through April.  Biblical and related theological studies, as well as personal stories, provide the inspiration for group interaction.  All men are welcome.  Contact Richard Yoder at or by phone at 574-534-0287, or James E. Horsch at or by calling 574-534-4609 for information about registration, topic, and time.

Mennonite Women
Mennonite Women hold workdays on the first Thursday of each month.  The group provides opportunities for fellowship, service, and spiritual growth for the women of the congregation.  Committees within Mennonite Women function to guide specific tasks and projects.  All women are welcome to participate in Mennonite Women. Contact Shirley Friesen at or by calling 574-533-5091 for more information.

Grief Support Groups
Grief groups are offered once to twice per year and are for those in the congregation who have lost loved ones. There are two women, Sara Wengerd and Evelyn Kreider, who follow up with those who have lost a loved one. They check in with them and provide helpful reading material from Stephens Ministries at various times in the year following the death. For more information, please contact Sara at or by calling 574-533-6117, or Evelyn Kreider at or by calling 574-537-4720.

Comfort Quilts
Two comfort quilts were created to symbolically bind the wounds of hurting people with God’s healing power of love and mercy.  They are intended for use as an expression of love and caring by our church family.  The quilt recipient keeps it for one to two weeks and is encouraged to write something or sign his or her name in the journal accompanying the quilt.  Suggestions for persons to receive the quilt can be given to Lydia Mertz at or by calling 574-533-7230 or Klaudia Smucker at or by calling 574-535-7262.
