At College Mennonite Church we welcome all who are exploring faith opportunities and are excited about adding their own
personal “life-blend” to our church family mix—whether for a one-time visit or through an extended
relationship.

So come, let us get to know you, while you get to know our church family. Explore the opportunities we provide to nurture your faith and follow Christ.
College Mennonite Church has its roots in the traditional anabaptist-Mennonite heritage. Worship is a central and foundational
part of our life together that can help us be renewed in understanding God’s claim on our lives. Worship calls us to be
part of his redemptive community. At College Mennonite Church, we strive to value our common commitments to learn from each other
and truly build worship that embraces our diversity.
Music is an important part of our worship experience. Our music
ministry provides opportunities for musicians of all ages, and includes instrumental music, handbell and voice choirs. Drama
and creative programs are also often part of our worship time together.
Children worshipping in “big church”
(three and older) can participate in a special “children’s worship time” each Sunday. Child nurturing is offered
separately for children ages two and under.
The Christian community functions more effectively when individuals share in the responsibility of ministry. College Mennonite Church values the unique gifts and contributions of each person. We believe it is a part of our mission to empower our family members to discover their own personal gifts, and support the training and enriching of all persons. The hope is that all would be fully engaged as Christian disciples within our congregation, in their vocational endeavors, and in the wider Christian community. We commit ourselves to offering resources, mentoring and support to strengthen peoples gifts for ministry and leadership.
College Mennonite Church is a nurturing church, where your faith can grow in a caring, loving, and giving environment. Members of the congregation support one another through interpersonal and group relationships.
We are a large church with a small group environment. We offer many opportunities for visitors, members and families to connect with, worship with, and be supported by small groups, such as Sunday School classes, neighborhood groups, K groups, and groups which emerge to serve specific needs.
We include all members in our church life. We offer a strong Children’s Christian education program, which embodies a variety of fellowship opportunities where children and youth receive support from peers and adults. From Greencroft retirement community, we provide cable access to worship and other special events, communion, visitation, and other opportunities to develop and sustain relationships with members of our church family.
The Mennonite Church USA strongly emphasizes the importance of taking a stand against violence and injustice, and provides many opportunities to address such issues through a strong mission and outreach focus in local communities and across the world. College Mennonite Church’s ministry of witness and service is an important part of our living faith. CMC members are encouraged to engage in opportunities to be witnesses for peace and justice here and abroad. Our church staffs a Peace and Justice Ministry office to assist efforts by members to witness.
Outreach is a strong focus of College Mennonite Church work. CMC family members are encouraged to serve those with spiritual and financial needs in their community and throughout the world.
CMC supports mission work in many countries with prayer and resources. Many in our church family serve abroad, personally involved in mission projects worldwide.
